Rogue Wave

A free beach game. Trades in the pool can send real waves. No wallet, no prizes.

What it is for

A free game on a strip of beach. You are a crab. Shells wash up; you carry them above the tide line before the next wave. No wallet, no tokens, no prizes.

It is here because of one small thing the pool does. When a trade happens, the pool can send a pulse, and every pulse sends one extra wave into every game being played.

How it works

The hook sends at most one pulse every 12 seconds, however many trades there are, and only for a trade above a small minimum size. The game server reads pulses from the chain and turns each one into a rogue wave.

The game limits them again, so the market can nudge a run but not decide it: at most one rogue wave per 12 seconds of play, and at most 8 in any 2 minutes.

The server decides everything that counts: where the waves are, what you collected, when a run ends. Your browser only sends your controls.

Where it stops

Scores are scores. They are worth nothing, and they are kept on a server the project runs, not on the chain.

If the game's reader loses the chain, there are no rogue waves until it comes back. The ordinary waves keep coming.

A pulse says that a trade happened. It carries nothing about who traded or how much.
